Is the avatar funtion off at this board? I don't see any avatars on the forums. I thought that would be nice, but maybe you've decided to turn it off because of loading speed. Maybe I missed the complete discussion about that. :D

Also, my signature doesn't show up, but I see others have a signature so I'm probably doing something wrong, I'll find out :D

Avatars were turned off by default. I have turned them on, but there are currently none in the gallery to choose from. We will have to work on this.

In the mean time, you can link to an offsite avatar or upload your own. Please keep it tasteful, otherwise i'll have to disable this ability.

The presence of avatar is not very useful, unless to charge a lot the system, and to slow computer.

I think the site is nice as it is. Simple and effective.

Just wait untill people post hundreds of messages, and you want to find your own message in a thread, then you'll find it very useful.

But, it's not my call :)
But I like avatars.

That is the error given to me when I attempt to upload an avatar. It is the permissions to there specific files and folders that won't allow me and anyone else to upload avatars.

I had that problem a long time ago when I used phpBB and I believe I went to those folders and CHMOD everything to 777.

Oh, and I linked my avatar off-site and it is not there in my posts.

I'll look into these errors and see what I can determine.

Avatars are a not bad idea, finally. In october I was thinking of bad taste avatars I seen on others site, but I realise that with Lego Castle Fan there is no problem.

I think I'll put mine too.
