Forum Size in Firefox

Post by Mr_Slice »

Not sure if it's only my browser or not, but the site only takes up about 3/5 of my screenspace. The font comes out so tiny that you can't even read it and it makes posting and reading very difficult.

How large is your monitor and what screen settings is it set on? CC forums and sites were made the current width so that people with smaller monitors could see the whole page. Perhaps you could increase the text size in your browsers options.

1024 x 768

That must be the problem. But I can't change my settings for only one message board. That wouldn't make much sense. I'll make due. :)

Hey Slice,

I've got the same issue, so I always just command-plus twice after logging onto c-c to increase the text size.

Yep... I've had this too... it must be a firefox issue... but command (Ctrl) and "+" always raise the font size, as was said... a small price to pay for my tabbed browsing. :-)

I have the same problem. Only I can read it all except for quotes, they are teeny-tiny. So I usually forget to ctrl+ until I need to read a quote. :)

Well, I've learned something new today. Does that mean I can go home now?

Same problem and fix for Opera. I just got a 19" flat panel monitor that prefers 1280 x 1024 and the type got really teeny-tiny. I need to Control+ four times, though. 8)

I use Firefox in 1152 x 864 pixel. I have a 17" monitor and everything is fine :)

17" monitor at 1280x960, I can read it pretty well no matter what... although, it's a flatscreen, so that may make a difference.

On a vaguely related note, I've noticed that when I view these forums with Netscape 7.2 instead of IE, the pages are left-aligned instead of center-aligned.
