Hi,
I'm trying to understand my Private Messages page. I have an Inbox, a Sentbox, an Outbox, and a Savebox.
My Inbox has messages that I've received.
My Sentbox has messages that I've sent.
My Outbox has messages that I assume have been sent, but I haven't received replies, so I'm wondering what's going on.
If something is in the Outbox, has it been sent? If not, how do I make it "sent"? What is supposed to be the difference between Sentbox and Outbox?
Inquiring minds need to know.
Alan

The 'Outbox' contains all messages that you have sent, but have not yet been viewed by the recipient. The 'Sentbox' contains messages you have sent and that have been viewed by the recipient.
It's kind of a 'big brother' tactic, if a message you have sent is in the sentbox, then you know that the person has actually read the message, but has had the audacity not to reply (yet).

Hey Alan,
When you send something to someone, it initially shows up in your "out" box. Once they have read it, it moves to your "sent" box.
I'm not sure, but I think if something is still in your "out" box and you delete it, the recipient will not receive it.

Thanks for the clarifications, Admins. That explains it all for me. Has anyone developed a program that slaps someone upside the head for not reading their messages?
