Domain Name Resolving Issues

Post by Troy »

There was a hiccup today with the Domain Name resolution, where "www.classic-castle.com" began pointing to the old Domain Name Registrar (Pair.nic) for some reason. Using "classic-castle.com" without the "www." still took you to the correct place.

This issue has already been corrected, but people may temporarily get sent to the new registrars (godaddy.com) page until all of the corrections propagate throughout the Domain Name Server system.

Thanks,

Troy

I thought we had gotten hacked or something :? I'm glad that wasn't the case.

No, we didn't get hacked. It was just a technical glitch from when I transfered the registration from one registrar to another. Of course, I transferred it about a year ago, so why the issue did not manifest itself until now is beyond me.

Anyways, everything seems to be resolving correctly now so hopefully this won't be an issue again.
