Ranks in CC

Can any of the admins say what the rank order is? And what is the top rank?

The thing about ranks is to not take them seriously. Ya, like at all. Usually, we use it as a way of having some fun. Admins get customized 'ranks' like "Earl of Wells" or "Marguis du Krakhed" - Moderators get "Knight Templar" and some people get special ones for no reason at all, such as TwoTonic who is "The butcher of System Town."

Here's the list (I think).

0-9: Gong farmer
10-24: Serf
25-49: Villein
50-74: Peasant
75-99: Freeman
100-149: Laborer
150-199: Apprentice
200-249: Foot soldier
250-299: Artisan
300-349: Bailiff
350-399:Archer
400-449:Journeyman
450-499:Reeve
500-599:Steward
600-699:Squire
700-799:Gentleman
800-899:Man-At-Arms
900:999:Landlord

The top rank is King. Long live King Mnementh!

I suppose what you really mean is what is the top rank available to us peasants, serfs, and villians? It's supposed to be a surprise. Somewhere someone has kept track of the progession so far, the highest of which currently is known is Knight Banoret (they used a slightly different spelling).

And looking down the list at messages below, do I smell a -->SMOTE<-- on the way?

Ok, thanks! :)

I don't, I was just interested. But I can imagine what would happen if people would take them seriously...

When I joined my first forum I was intrigued of the rank system, probably becuase the ranks were taken from everywere (lowest was "lurker" and second was "lurker who speaks"). For some reason I seemed to have lost my interest until this thread was made. :)

So, thanks Glencaer in a way. :D

Actually posting for the purpose of boosting one's Forum rank is never good advice.

Yes, otherwise our site will degrade to a spam bin.
Well, unless you make good posts, which Bloody Jay does anyway. We shouldn't attack the wrong people.
Actually, I have never seen a spam post here. Has anyone?

I like the ranking system here, as it enhances the site. It's one of those small things, which add to the overall spirit of this site.
Thanks for listing all the ranks, Glencaer, now I'll know when to prepare my next rank-corresponding MOC (or vig-like MOC). My next rank is Bailiff, and only 8 posts left! I’ve already made the MOC, soon I shall unveil it :) .

Thanks Glencaer! I was thinking about starting a topic like this, but now Nick has saved me the trouble. I always wondered what a Gong Farmer was, but somewhere along the way I discovered its grusome meaning. I am glad I am not one of them anymore  (No offence to Gong Farmers)

I fact, for those of you who don't know what a Gong Farmer is, the Discovery Channel rated it as one of the worst jobs in history

Actually, Bricksidge's avatar is a gong farmer, he told so in my other topic 'avatars' (in the publishing section). Before I didn't know what it meant either.
I have seen a lot of spam posts.
Can you give an example please? I've never seen one, so I am quite surprised.
