How do I select a quote from someone's reply or post that is highlighted in white?

There is a little ballon with quotation marks in the upper right hand corner of every post. If you hit that, it will make a quotation in a white field.

I am wondering if someone will tell you that your posting should go somewhere else... but it took me about 6 months to figure out how to do it because I never had the guts to ask, so I sure won't say anything. ;-)
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.

Whaddya mean? I know I post a lot for the few days I've been on this forum, I'm just new to this webiste. I'd like to point out that you didn't get your hundreds of postings by being silent. Fine... I'll shut up and read.

Shadow,

You need to read the Terms of Service:

http://www.classic-castle.com/tos.html

Also you should read the titles of each forum to post in the correct space. Posting an off topic question in another thread is unacceptable. Please post a new thread with a question in the right forum. Questions about how to use the forums, in this case quotes, belong in the Administrative forum (Rules, Regulations, Announcements, Technical Issues, Etc.). I will move it there.

Wow... that was an interesting way for you to interpret my comments... I was just saying that some people may tell you to post your questions in a different thread, like this one... hmm... ok, whatever... welcome to CC and best of luck on this site.

I'm sorry guys... I was in a foul mood. Yeah, I had a bit of confusion as to where to post, I am a member of a forum where you don't have subjects like general lego.

Oops, I meant to include how I found out how to quote. After I posted I found the quote button at the top then saw your post.

Hehehe, I remember when I still didn't know how to highlight quotes, I tries all sorts of things - pasting the text into the quote brackets, putting the [quote] before or after the text, and many other sully things. I've made a few odd posts like this before I discovered the simple truth.
