New Moderators

Postby SavaTheAggie » Thu Nov 10, 2005 11:04 am

Greetings C-Cer's!

It is my pleasure to announce new members of the Brute Squad, otherwise known as the C-C Moderator Team.

First off, you may have noticed that Formendacil has been a moderator for some time. However, we never really formally announced it, so please let me correct that error.

So please welcome the newest members to the C-C team!

Formendacil
Ottoatm
Rogue27

These are your new moderators. Please give them with the same respect you would an admin.

Congratulations to you! I´ll try to behave

And now you have even more to do, and another place to rule over me, Ottoatm ;)

Congratulations you guys! Also I was wondering, what are the criterias for one member to become a mod? I'd be glad if you share it with us. Grats to the new mods once again :D

In the interest of keeping the peace, the criteria for becomming a mod should be kept private. Not because we're trying to be secretive, but because we (the admins) do not want to be flooded with 'can I be a moderator?', 'can I be an admin?' and 'why not?' questions.

But I will say this much: No admin or mod simply volunteered for the position. Rather, the admin staff contacted that person and invited them to join the team, after lengthy discussions over the necessary criteria.

Yeah Sava you're probably right. It's better to keep it as a secret.

It's better for you to be secretive, as there must be a distinct borderline between public and non-public information.
Yeah Sava you're probably right. It's better to keep it as a secret.

Exactly. People in charge are always right.
Anyway, congratulations to Ottoatm especially, as I don't really know rouge. I am sure he is worthy of a mod title, though.

Thats all a lie, Tony! You know the truth!

Lenny and I do a zany dance calling upon the spirits of bricks stomped by clumsy parents. After 4 exhausting hours of breakdancing, the bricks flash and smoke, and insane yells come from them. They then form the names of the person to become a Mod.

Oh, the walls bleed too.

Congratulations to Formendacil, Ottoatm, and Rogue27! I've observed their behavior on the forums a bit (Don't we all? :P), and I must say they are perfect for the job.

'Tis true, I was recently knighted by Lord Sava, and I now bear a badge to mark my authority.

I can only hope that I'll have the wisdom to use my new powers for good instead of evil.

Congrats to the new moderators! And I too think the criteria should be private. Not that my opinion would change it one way or the other...

PS. When I have done that, the wall didn't bleed. They oozed melted ABS...

Hey! Why didn't I become a moderator? I'm the most influential member on this entire site!

:P

Seriously now, congrats, Rogue and ottoatm. You deserve your new badges of authority. Wear 'em with pride.

Hmm... based on this... I'm not so sure it's a good thing my name came up! ;-)

All things aside, I was really happy to get this "mod" chance - it's all a bit new to me, but very cool. I'll try to do a good job - go easy on me if I make any mistakes (no bleeding walls :-P)

Maedhros - This is all part of my plan - I will dominate your online life!
