Banned e-mail

I tried to change the e-mail adress in my profile, and found out that my hotmail-adress was banned from the system!

Now, I´m going to need someone in charge to tell me why that is.

Hotmail addresses were banned some months after the founding of CC in an attempt to prevent Spammer froms signing up. I believe that Troy or Tony has a much better-worded and longer post on this somewhere...

In the meantime, the long and short of it is that Hotmail accounts don't work anymore for being a CC member. I'm not sure if the oldest members are protected by a Grandfather Clause or not...

Ahh, so that´s it, for a time there I was afraid someone had used my adress breaking forum rules or something.

To the best of my knowledge, only the address you are registered under is not allowed to be Hotmail.
