Neither his website link nor his stated "interests" mention Lego.

Yes, I know Derek. He was asking me about making custom Legos last night and I directed him here and to MCN. He's valid, although I haven't seen the topic he has posted.
I will vouch for him, 100%. Anything else you need to know, ask me via email or IM and I'll help you out.

I'm satisfied with that.
My thanks to footsteps, new forum members with no obvious ties to the hobby in their profile raise red flags, and we should continue to be vigilant. Fortunately in this case, we were mistaken.
Welcome, Derek, I hope you enjoy your time with us.

Ah, I thought there was something vaguely familiar about that site, but I couldn't figure it out. It just seemed odd that the "interests" entry didn't mention Lego. I'm glad it was a false alarm.SavaTheAggie wrote:Recluse' signature links to the Dabel Brothers site.
Sorry if I come across as an "old fogey" looking for things to complain about. I've been 'online' for almost 12 years now, and I guess my tolerance of anything spam-ish is wafer thin these days.

Mine is as well, thanks for being vigilant. I know we have had a number of spammers sign up lately, it is better to be too cautious rather than the reverse.footsteps wrote:I've been 'online' for almost 12 years now, and I guess my tolerance of anything spam-ish is wafer thin these days.
