I wouldn't mind having some orks and stuff like that as well. But now I see a skeleton army is coming so that will do for now.

well, I do like the "build your own theme" title, since that is essentially what Lego is for.. :D

however, if asking lego to come up with one that we suggest, I'd say Roman Legions. (btw - anyone notice that playmobil will be coming out with them this year? :D)

and barring that, how about another fantasy one? or expanding this one? I really really want a griffon. Not a hippogryff. give it a lions tail, and some lion's back legs, and I will be very very thrilled.

Will
be? They already have, I got one when I was 4, this 10 years later.
Anyway, a Fantasy theme with Orcs, Trolls, Elves and the like would be nice.

I own the playmobil ship, army and quadriga and emperor (got them off ebay, great sets)) but anway let's get back on topic. Lego rome would be great, byzantine would be better, but ther adversaries probably couldn't pass the PC benchmark. Romans would be great because they could fight carthaginians and gauls. Carthage is no longer a great civiliazation and gauls are white so no one would get offended. Being a roman fanatic I think rome would be really good. Oh and I agree a real griffon would be marvelous

God's speed

Ancient Greek Myths: Similar to the Viking Line

1. Icarus and Daedlus: ($10) two figures with some sort of winged contraptions (like the ninja gliders). One column.

2. Jason vs. the Dragon ($20): inlcudes Jason, old castle style Dragon, Medea, burpy rock scenery, golden fleece (flag). Skeleton.

3. Hercules vs. Cerebus ($20): includes Hercules and fluffy. Small collonade/temple. White statute figure.

4. Theseus vs. Minotaur ($30): includes Theseus, Ariadne and minotaur figure. Several collonades, maybe on hinges to represent the laberynth. Red string to find way out.

5. Odysseus vs. Sirens ($50): includes small greek ship, with Odysseus and some crewmen. Sirens.

6. Trojan War ($100): includes Achilles, Hector and Priam. Also a couple of Trojan and Greek warriors. Medium Wall of Troy and Trojan Horse. Some Greek tents.

Then for a second round of Greek goodness, since they would be so popular, we could have:

Perseus v. Medusa ($10)
Hercules v. Hydra and Centaurs ($30)
Bellepheron (on Pegasus) v. Chimera ($20)
Odysseus v. Cyclops ($20)
Jason (and the Argo) v. Harpies ($50)
Exclusive set (ala Arkham) ($100): The Titanomachy (Zeus vs. Titans)

Next up Arabian Nights!

Sleeveless, with a tan lion-skin printed torso (skin of the Nemian lion). Perhaps a new hat piece in the shape of a lion's head? Or if not, just the standard long hair. Printed beard. Brown pants. Carrying a club?

Or, I just thought of an alternative Greek theme. The Seven Labors of Hercules. Similar to the others I've mentioned, but all involving Hercules.

Ehhh... get too many Hercules figs that way. And the other would give Lego an excuse to make a minataur.

I guess there were 12 labors...

But the Hercules theme would give us Amazon women, the Nemean Lion (much needed), a Hydra, Augean Stables, the Erymanthian Boar (pigs would good for castle), the Ceryneian Hind (deer/stag would be good for castle), the Stymphalian Birds, the Cretan Bull (cows are much needed), the Mares of Diomedes, Cattle of Geryon, Golden Apples, Hesperides and Cerebus...

Okay, now call Lego.
That actually sounds better now... Plus, you could use Herc' for barbarians or something. The Trojan Wall set sounded awesome, though- I'd love to see LEGO's take on the Horse! (Or the rabbit... heheh.)
