Now, the solution is to make the skeleton arms be compatible with regular figures; that is, make a hole in the skeleton's shoulder instead of the knob that they have for both the old and new designs. Next, the arm for the skeleton would have the same bit that clicks in the torso of a normal arm and fig. This way, skeleton arms are posable and can be used on normal torsos if your skeleton is to be clothed. Also, they could add a slot to the arm so that a hand could fit, and the hand would be white. So basically look at the old design of the arm and imagine the hand part removable and posable, and the place for the knob would be replaced with the correct knob for normal torsos.Legolas wrote:Dear LEGO....
why.. why did you decide to change the design of the Skeleton torso after so many years.. and on top of that.. why didn't you atleast make a new mold for a new skeleton arm.. instead you rehashed the ol' battle droids arms
This is a skeletal arm that is well proportioned (within the realm of minifig scale)
This.. on the other hand.. is not..
Come on guys... I have atleast 30 of the ol' fashioned skeletons.. and was looking forward to increasing my undead army even farther.. thankfully, I have only 1 of the new style, and when I went to add him to the tub with the rest, they laughed at his misshapen arms.. thats not cool..
I'm all for the posable arms, but give the poor guy some arms that actually look like they belong..
That is all.
I think they did it like this for the same reason why they did the none posable skeleton horses; it would cost too much. They wouldn't be able to have as many figures in a set, just like how they couldn't have as many horses in a set.
