Or of... battlepacks!

Going by European release dates, 2008 will be Lego Castle's 30th anniversary. I wonder if there's any significance to that...

We're talking about the end of '08, that's still a year away my friend :)

I thought it was the end of this year... Not so excited anymore... Too far away...

Hmmm, army builder? Farm or medieval town houses?
Hopefully something cool.
Shelved bricks(???)

Oh I misread, near the end of 08, that is a long time from now. I guess I won't be too worried right now. As long as this doesn't come out this year I know what I want for Christmas :D

As Athos said, how do you know?

And, just out of random curiosity, how much money would you say I could offer you for the information?

Yea, the Yellow Castle (375) was first released in 1978. (30 years ago)
My guess is there might be a re-release of that set for 2008.

Personally, I wouldn't care for that. I'd rather have a castle creator set similar in size to Cafe Corner. That'd be sweet!

Here is my (incredibly unrealistic) hope: A return of the old greys. Haha, like that will ever happen, unfortunately.

As I stated before in the Dear Castle Designers thread, I'd love to see a big, UCS style castle with a horde of cool figs and endless construction possibilities. However, I have this niggling worry that the special item won't be a set, but something like a LEGO Castle video game. I really hope that I'm wrong, though.

Perhaps the Impulse sets are the surprise.

Hey, it sure surprised me.
