The Cruelties of TLC

Post by Sir Smittens »

Here's an idea: We make a list of all the horrible things TLC has done to us. Just copy and paste the list, and add one of your own (Try not to put more than one thought). Hopefully, this will get out our anger. Or maybe it'll just increase it.

1) Giving us inedible jellybeans

<<edit: Feel free to put more than one idea up. What I meant was just do not to 10 or so at once, because that might disarm all the other people. After some people have gone, however, go ahead and post another one>>

This is I think the third time I've heard mention of new pirate sets, but I haven't seen them. Does anyone have pics?

Ok - this bears repeating. I was at Toys R Us today, and found Megabloks bags of brown. Thats right - just an assortment of brown in bags selling for around four bucks i think. I didnt look at the price because I wouldnt buy any anyway... but LEGO WAKE UP!
If they had been lego brand I would have had to buy up what they had right then and there.

Sorry, but I needed to Vent.
um
continue with this thread.

freak.

(sorry again)

19) Cardboard wall pieces instead of brick.
20) Plastic playmats instead of baseplates. See # 2)
21) Repeatedly using the raised baseplate from King Leo's castle in other sets.
22) White onion dome not round so you can't make one solid dome by using two domes.
23) No Lego Brand stores in Canada
24) Only 7 Minifigs or less in the $100.00 sets. KKI, KKII, New Falcon etc...

I have more, but I decided to be civilized.

Millennium Falcon, not a castle set, but a $100.00 set with less than a decent amount of figs. The AT-AT could also be considered a rip-off for the price to fig ratio. There was a time that the big sets had 10 figs or more to go with their big prices. Now we consider ourselves lucky if we get 3 decent usable figs in a big set and hope we can use the parts from the rest.

Several Lego Brand stores in the US have PAB inventories. There are not enough PAB stores in North America and that could be a better complaint. So here it goes again. :D

I know I'm not the only one who thinks this way, and yet it doesn't get added to the list?
I guess this doesn't "qualify" as a TLC dislike of my own.

One sided, but I'm used to that.
