Should the LEGO Company make Halo into LEGO?

That'd be great!!

Although Halo is one of my favorite games, I would not want it to be made a LEGO. The pieces would be awkward, I would have too much purple and pink pieces from covenant vehicles, it would probably cost too much money for LEGO by making all the new molds, it's rated M so parents would restrict kids from buying due to the violence, and it's not going to happen. I would rather have a Legend of Zelda theme like Jansen said.

No!!!!

I don't like Halo at all, and I think it's the most overrated game series in the entire history of gaming.

That said, I wouldn't mind some kind of videogame licence for a series that's actually good, such as Zelda.

Plus, I think the market for Halo isn't big enough to support a Lego line. It's too much of a niche, that Lego doesn't cater to.

The aliens would sell pretty well I think. We need some more crazy-looking beasts. I'm sorry, but most of the SW beasts don't cut it.

No is not strong enough.

I can imagine that the number of crappy Halo mocs would grow exponentially on MOCpages.

A definite resounding NO. I don't want more licensed products and Halo isn't a good fit with Lego, as many have already pointed out. I think Lego needs to keep heading down the road of creating their own themes and wean themselves off of the licenses.

In all honesty, I have gotten totally sick of hearing about Halo and the Master Chief and the Covenant or whatever, and the last thing I want to see is Lego being taken over. So a firm no.

halo really isnt overrated. whats really so great about it though is the huge community. cod4 is better though.

lego halo might be cool but it would never happen, and probably not be succesful. but who knows, from all the trash talking kids i hear on xbl it might sell pretty well

now what would really be awesome is starcraft lego

A Marathon/Halo would be interesting. Better than the ___Mars stuff.

Please, LEGO, don't ever, ever, ever inflict this on us!

Personally: I do not want Halo, but if LEGO did do it. We would have less Halo MOCs (at last!), but then again, the mocs in question, could double with even worse attempts. Its really all down to personal opinions.

All though Halo would be cool it is very unlikly that they would make sets based on an MA rated game.p.s If anyone would like to see what Master Chief and the Elite would probably look like in minifig form,go to Brothers Brick, and try to find Lego Halo the Videogame.

I'd certainly agree the themes and nature of the HALO game don't make it suitable for a TLC licensed line.

For that matter, customizers have already more than filled the HALO minifig niche. Numerous Master Chief decals are already available online (Saber-Scorpion's being the most detailed), and BrickArms offers two weapons inspired by HALO:

BA-M6 Magnum:

There are also rumors that Brickforge is working on a HALO-inspired helmet.

All in all, building toy fans that want to inject a bit of HALOness into their work already have the supplies they need. An official TLC line is both unnecessary and inappropriate.

NO, no, no, and no! Why do people keep making threads about this stuff? Please LEGO, don't get any more licensed themes. Thank you and goodbye.

EDIT: OK, I know why people start threads like these in the Dear LEGO forum. I was being rhetorical.

Can we please just let this thread die already?

LEGO will never do a craplo theme because it's a mature rated game. 'nuff said.

People aren't. This is the only Dear Lego thread we have about Halo on Classic-Castle.

If you want a thread to die, its usually best not to post in it. Feeding it only keeps it alive.
