We're going to cease the religious talk now before it gets out of hand.

A separate thread on Religion as it pertains to necromancy in a fantasy context might be acceptable if somebody wants to start one in an appropriate forum.

If you don't think any of the characters fit the role of skeleton general then make one of your own, if you do like the character, stop moaning.
I agree. Lets try to keep this simple. Use a skeleton general or don't. Use skeleton armies or don't. If you need to consult a book, whether a game manual or religious text do if it helps.

I would like LEGO to make a "Witch-King" type figure but at the same time wouldn't mind taking some time and imagine/create one myself. That's playing well.

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely!

Despise learning and make everyone pay for your ignorance.

My LEGO figures keep me from being evil, drat!!

I made the witchking a long long time ago. It was right after they began adding faces to the minifigs so I remember trying to use a few of the new ones or modify them for him. My witchking ended up with a fabric black cloak and hood I made for him and I made him completely black head to toe. With the new dark colors added in and the cool euro armour in black and other black and dark colored parts making one now would be awesome. Mine still was pretty neat at the time.

I think if TLC did come out with a general it would be fine if not it gives us the ability to make our own up which allows for alot of freedom.

I don't see Lego returning to the Skeleton theme (outside of the chess set) simply because they're very dark and creepy and not really appropriate for kids, unlike the trolls who have a silly side to them and are actually pretty cute :)

That said I like to think the armored "Death Knights" are the leaders of the skeleton army, because in the Lego World the coolest-looking characters get the best promotions, and the rib-cage knight is probably the coolest-looking (official) figure ever.
