Hmmmm, Pirates of the Carribean perhaps? I don't think Disney will take to that.

The Disney company would be hypocritical to go after a toy company for using a Governor and his daughter in a pirate toy. This story has been in pirate films at least since 1935's Captain Blood. The POTC films were influenced by various pirate films of the past, most of which were not made by Walt Disney.

I never knew that. Well, I might have.

Oh well.

Trading ports, port village buildings, etc etc...

And of course a ship to do battle (realistically) with the Barracuda.

I agree with that.

But there is a slight problem. Unless I'm much less mistaken, The Skulls Eye Schooner is more dangerous. It can point all four of its canons on one side. The Black Seas Barracuda can't. At least I think.

Unless of course you picked the Barracuda just because you think it's cooler.

Which it isn't

The Skull's Eye Schooner is great, but it still almost looks like it's made out of Mega Bloks next to the Black Seas Barracuda.

Not if you've ever built them both and had them in the Imperial Trading Post Harbour. The Schooner is a menace on the high seas!

I want the Red Beard's Runner back :P

Haha no, that ship sucked :). I'd like to see some small pirate ships too, like the Renegade Runner. And a realistic pirate island, not a sunken ship island or a junkyard one. An island with a beach, palm trees and a cavern; or is that asking too much?

Black Seas Barracuda (my preference), Skulls Eye Schooner (your preference), you get the point.

Hey Elephant Knight, don't berate yourself. That's what this forum is for - learning new things! :)

I never bothered with the Red Beard Runner when it came out, even as a Legend. The BSB, though - I bought one Legend (should have bought more!). I would love to get a Skull's Eye Schooner, too!

Don't give me a heart attack like that!

I guess it all depends on your preference, Though I agree with you on the point of a small Renegade Runner type ship. I was able to get the Cross bone Clipper, but it doesn't quite live up to the other ships.

The Skull's Eye Schooner owns these seas, and quickly dispatches the argument with a barrage of firepower and free spirit!

You're all wrong! Set 6234 rules all! It has the advantage of manuverability and being a small target.
