Future of Castle
According to a Eurobricks member who is very reliable,in 2009 their will be 7 big sets,4 small sets, and 1 special set.
Wow thanks Dr. Cogg, for this most useful information! This is a really big scoop!Dr.Cogg wrote:According to a Eurobricks member who is very reliable,in 2009 their will be 7 big sets,4 small sets, and 1 special set.
I can barely contain my excitement! My wife is going to have to bring down the sedatives in a bit!
This is such good news that I'm not even going to complain that you didn't give any specific information (or... really... any information at all...), or a link to where you got the information from so we can read it too...
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

Now I do not know what TLC normal policy is but when do they normally start to release info on the up coming years sets? I thought 2008 sets began leaking out months before 2007 ended. I'd love to think that 2009 will be a big year because while 2008 was a good year a few little things took its five starts down to 4 and 1/2. Lack of fortresses and lack of dwarves my main points. Lack of shields while disturbing but is workable.

That's one of the benefits of being older, as the older one gets the quicker time flies past. It seems like not so long ago that we were picking up our first Crown sets in 2007. Now Orcs and Dwarves are here in wide release. Soon the next year will be here as 2008 is half over already.
The only reason I would want to know the future plans is for background stories for the Crown/Dwarf/Orc factions. Not only would I like to know about the Elves but the next faction beyond that. Will it be Human or something else? But that's the only reason.

So true! (And I'm not even that old!) I'm already having plenty of trouble keeping up with the current lines.Tower of Iron Will wrote:That's one of the benefits of being older, as the older one gets the quicker time flies past.

From what I've heard there will be at least one new big castle at the 100 price point range. I'm curious to see if they continue making baseplate-less castles.

Ah a new big castle. That is what i was hoping to hear. If it is of the same quality as 7094 we will be good! Well actually i'd like one without stilty towers, but i've whined incessently about that already. lol
Any word on what the other sets may be? I'd bet a limb there'll be some sort of elf ship.
