Dear Lego, if you happen to have even more time there's plenty of bricks here i'd also like to see- http://www.flickr.com/groups/708111@N24/

I've never really considered such a piece... I guess it could be a nice addition, though I wonder how sturdy it would be with only one stud to hold it. Especially, if its used as a play feature as an opening door...

I'd also like an arch piece that could go both ways (left and right) from a 1x1 pillar. Does that make sense?

The thought crossed my mind three weeks ago. I tried to think of why they wouldn't do it, and I was hard pressed to find a reason not to... Sometimes there are parts that tread dangerously into the 'hard to remove' once you lay them down category, but this is hardly such an item.

Though it's probably less popular, one piece I was thinking of was a 1x1x something with a vertical axle or technic pin hole so there's no stud on top.

There's definitely some interest in a double sided 'female' brick.. perhaps a 1x1x2/3 tall one and a 2x2x2/3 version.

I could see some uses.... my dwarves could finally sit down! Or maybe Lego could just make some official dwarf legs. I cannot see many other uses at the moment but I am sure there are more.

I have to admit, I've always wanted to see this exact element myself. The Flickr group that Richard linked has alot of awesome suggestions too.
