Post by Patron of the lego »

Dear Lego

Reminded from a earlier post,

(psst... spelling helps :D)
Dear Lego, I second that. There needs to be more base plates readily available. Preferably of the blue, white, and tan kind. You know, I was at TRU the other day (my favorite haunt) and a kid asked where he could get a blue base plate. Now seriously I have a ton of these in my "collection" but I aint a given these up, and I had to tell him "just look around". Have you really given up making these?? Kids dig em, I dig em, giant robots dig em, c'mon. Make em if you aren't already...

And while yer at it I'd love the classic baseplate in white, tan and dark grey. PS while I'm wishin' (I'd love a pony with bells on it's saddle) please bring back the moonscape stuff) ...(c'mon, you brought back the crater plates for the old aqua stuff!!)

Freak! I swear I saw your avatar on a SuperBowl commerical... but I digress...

Yes, bring on the baseplates! White, Black, Tan, Dark Bley, Light Bley, Dark Brown, and Dark Blue and Green all work for me. (I don't pay them too well, but at least they're a happy lot.)

Grey -> concrete
Green -> grass
Blue -> water
White -> snow
Brown -> soil
Tan -> sand

All these would be useful...

The new pyramid board game set looks to have a 32x32 tan baseplate. I do agree about the blue baseplates. These would be very useful.

I'd like to have some new blue baseplates. I'm sort of partial to the navy blue plates, like the ones in the 7029 Skeleton Ship Attack attack set. Navy blue baseplates would be great. :D
