A pack might be tough to keep financially viable for TLG, but a mid-range set (say $20 $30) with multiple (probably just 2) cows or smaller set ($10 - 15) with just one cow might be within the range of possibility. I'd by either in a heartbeat. While they aren't in keep with the aesthetics of classic TLG horse, the new cows match the more textured, cartoony feel of modern sets and creatures.

I'd say it's time to bring back the western theme! 2 cows, a cowboy, maybe a bad guy as a cattle rustler so we can have "action". I've long argued they needed one more year and a new mold so they could do more civilian sets--cattle drive, pioneer wagon, homestead farm, train station.

Now here is a great idea. I always thought it would be great to have a LEGO "chuck wagon" set done in the western theme.

But for now I would be just as happy with some more cows and other farm animals so we can make some medieval farms. :)

They could always use the cows to pull wagons for peasants. I know they used oxen in reality but close enough for lego. Much of the bulk power in transport was laid on these strong animals until fairly recently. When I lived in South America saw they were still used fairly often by farmers. Not seen them in use so in the US or England but I bet it still happens.

An ox-cart is a definitely needed set... Either that or a gypsy wagon, pulled by two oxen.

Great ideas!

Being a fan of trains, I also want to see a cattle wagon.

I have posed the request to LEGO via the Ambassador channels. I'm all for it!

A blister pack with 4 cows for $14 probably wouldn't fly financially. I do like the idea of a new western theme using the cows and the idea of a smaller farm set with a single cow is a good one too.

I'm all for LEGO sheep and pigs. But why stop there!

Introducing LEGO Circus/Zoo Theme!

Hippos, Giraffes, Elephants, Lions, Tigers and Bears...oh my!

My only caveat would be that the animals should be brick-built wherever possible, else why not just buy Playmobile.

It just occurred to me that a farm/city theme "State Fair" set could be an awesome parts-pack... A couple cows, plus other animals, some food pieces, a couple ribbons or trophies, and so on.

Of course it might not appeal enough to the core market....

I think there should be cow battlepacks, as mentioned by ehm... who was it now... well, never mind. Maybe something like my sigfig, with some different weapons :D
And "civil" cows could also be nice.

Yes, bring out the Cavalry Cows! I agree with what The Enigma Badger said, $10-20 sets with some cows would be nice, preferably a Wild West theme! :)

They can make their own design for the other animals. BF had a cow out long before TLC came out with theirs.
