Padded Armor

I'd really like to see TLG have printed torsos that looked like gambesons and other padded/quilted armors, like this jack and chain set:

It think it is an interesting idea. Did you see these that Roaglaan made these some time ago?

And out of print. Sure I could go on bricklink and get some, but it would be nice to see some new torso to add variety.

It'd be nicer if it did not have holes in it as well. I think it works for some characters though, just not all.

I like that Ninja Torso very much, but it would be nice if the soldiers could get it patched up. It does give them a veteran look that kind of spices things up a bit. Not every unit can have shiny new metal armor.
