These Official Castle Battlepacks

Post by Count Blacktron »

Dear LEGO,
We have been granted much love in the last couple of years through the official Castle theme. You've given us remarkable sets, and outstanding Battlepacks now. I love the Skeleton, Knight and apparent Troll Battlepacks I have seen, but it is apparent that two factions are unrepresented in this format. Missing from the Castle Battlepack collection are Dwarves and Peasants. Would it not be sound for LEGO to offer these as well?

I wonder what figs they would put in a dwarf battlepack. There doesn't seem like dwarves have many weapons and providing 5 different dwarves with beards could be costly. Also, there is yet to be a dwarven archer.

And how could they make a peasant battlepack?

It would be great if Lego surprised us with an Elf/Forestmen battle pack.

I have dreamt since I first learned of the 1980s LEGOland Castle peasant figure that I would be able to amass a horde of angry male, female, and elderly peasants wielding pitchforks, clubs, torches and let them loose across my creations to pursue whatever monsters I might dream of. 'Tis but a simple wish, but a wish nonetheless.

Dont worry, its a perfectly good wish (one that a good 98% of CC users wish for as well) But I was merely pointing out that peasants aren't usually seen as "dangerous" or "deadly" in the eyes of TLC and, hopefully, average kids. Therefore, the word battle isn't usually used in the same context as peasant.

We should just call it the Peasant Pack.... or if we are feeling really funny-The Pleasant Peasant Pack- :D

My take is they could easily do it. They already have the minifigs ready in the wings so to speak. Just toss in four peasants from MMV-The smith, the old man or child and mop top with one of the girls then a cow with a hammer, shovel, pick, maybe a scythe…. I’d love a pitchfork though!

I'd love a dwarf one as well.

I just wish they were a bit less costly...

Like the yellow leaf element, and those are nice torsos from the Ninja line. I have bunches of them... but they all have that little nata knives which are nice for angry peasant weaponry.

Yeah, it could be nice with a dwarven battlepack. And also with a peasant ...pack. If they were armed with torches, clubs and so on, they could be a some militiamen defending their village against the orcs and skellies, or maybe some rebels against the crownie king...
