Sure his interests lie mostly along the lines of Nintendo and potato chips but I digress....he's one of those kids who just build the set and put it on a shelf.
This is dismaying. Creativity and imagination are what humanity's progress has been built on. Building with Lego bricks gives a child this ability to actively explore possibilities beyond what they know. But sitting in front of a screen shooting stuff? How will they benefit from that?

I hate to sound all backward-looking, but I feel they're missing out on something.
