Horses...

I think that we need bulk packs of horses, saddles, and horse barding...since horses aren't very common in KK2...

Hopefully we will see some in future releases but a bulk pack as you suggested would be great. A good way to build up armies! I only have 2 horses at the moment, I would love to get some more. So this seems like a good idea to me.

I bought the horse pack back in the good old days of KK1... I have over a score of score of horses, so i can afford to bide my time, but I'd suggest ebay. they have some great deals there, just go to search and trpe in lego horses. great deals. :P

I too would like to see horses available, though I don't think bardings should be too common. While you are at it, Lego, keep producing the old greys and if that is too much, at least the light grey.

I'd like to see some gray or tan horses. This black or white with an occasional brown thrown in is just a bit too stark for me (and indian ponies a bit too specific). But yeah, I'd like to see some horse/saddle/barding packs (Playmobile manages to do it, after all).

I agree! Light grey, dark grey, brown, orange, spotted, with different colored manes and tails, etc... I'd love to see them, and lots of them! I only have 15 horses (7 black, 7 white, 1 brown) so I've taken to using other animals as mounts (elephants, dinosaurs and dragons). When a quarter of your mounted soldiers ride extremely exotic, extinct or non-existent animals, it's time you get more horses.

I remember the good old days of 5394. I was young then, and to my everlasting regret, I only bought two sets. Luckily for me, I have plenty of Castle and Wild West sets, so I'm not scrounging for steeds.

I'd like to see some new horses too. I'd say grey, but the new bley looks too.... shiny. Tan would be good, though, and maybe dark bley would be alright.

Maybe some printed horses? Say Indian ones without the indian-specific stuff.

Bardings are give or take for me. Sure, I'm crazy about them, but regular saddles work better for the average guy I'm likely to mount, and if I want, I can always make an under-saddle barding of my own design.

Example:

Sure its only paper, sure it occasionally needs replacing. It works fine for my need all the same.

Yup. I've got a troop of black, white, brown, tan, and lt.grey horses so far. If I can scrounge up the parts I'll add a dk.grey, and maybe even try some mixed colour varieties (i.e. both greys, grey/white, black/grey, brown/grey, etc)

If they did make a bulk pack of horses, hopefully it would include more than just the typical black and white horses you find in castle sets.

Some brown, grey, and tan horses would be a nice addition.

However, I think it is more likely that we would get a large castle minifig pack which contains a few horses and bardings than for them to release a pure horse pack.

The town minifig pack contains a few of those 3 wheelers, so it seems reasonable that a castle minifig pack, if one existed, would contain a few horses.

Horses? I have plenty. Can make a small group of "Rohirrim" with these.

Wow, it seems that there was a horse and saddle service pack in 1997.

http://guide.lugnet.com/set/5394

Apparently somebody did mention 5394 earlier in this thread, but did not mention what it was or provide a link. Funny how I would happen to stumble upon this set today.
