Okey you meant that, "techniques not used by Lego in official sets and considered illegal"
But that image is from the video game so then it isn´t illegal. But we will probably not see a brick builded Balrog with that flamewhip and is it even possible anymore, doesn´t the flame piece lack the small stud nowdays?

There are plenty of illegal connections in the video games. They are made by TT Games and they have more leeway since the in-game builds aren't going to be actual sets.mencot wrote:But that image is from the video game so then it isn´t illegal.

That was quite an interesting read, actually.

Re: LOTR beasts: molded or brick-built?
Ok well we know that the eagles, wargs and goblin king are all molded at this point, and ents are brick built. From what we see in the video game, balrog will probably be brick built with some new pieces (yay!) and the fell beast will most likely be molded. I really hope that they make the fell beast brick built, but I think it is extremely unlikely because all of the other ones that are out so far all correspond to the video perfectly. Therefore, I have undertaken building my own brick build fell beast. I also want the balrog to be brick built. And in addition to these, i want a Sauron fig, but whether he is bionicle or molded doesnt matter that much to me. But I am happy with what we have so far.
