please more yellow eared elf hairpieces

Post by athronieth »

Dear LEGO, please make more elf hairpieces with the standard yellow ears for us elf-loving but fleshie-hating customers. With all the Tolkien-related hairpieces from LOTR and HOBBIT, the fleshie-adopters are getting lots of great color and style options, with even more coming out in future waves, but us old-fashioned base yellow folks are stuck with just the one option. I don't want to modify a fleshie piece unless I really really really have to, but I am feeling desperate and in a moment of panic on some Saturday morning I may drive very fast to and from a store, but some yellow paint, and perform some alchemy on my fleshie elf hairpieces. . .

If I may be so bold, a yellow sharpie can work wonders on fleshy coloured items. The colour match is almost perfect, and much cheaper than paint, I would think.

Good, but no use if you're a purist.

I'd like some more. I think i've got about five, but the more diversity among Castle MOC populations the better, I say.

Yes, please more yellow elf hair options. :) The Fleshie one's are nice, but I do prefer to stick with the classic yellow while building.

My vote is that when lego is finished with the lotr run, to re release all the sets with yellow minifigures. Of course keep some sets exclusive to both runs, for marketing purposes
