Ultimate Collectors Series: Castle
Whouldn't it be cool if LEGO made large Siege Equipment (KK2 Figure Size) like Mobile Trebuchet, Siege Towers, Porcupines, Slings, Crossbow Carts like in LOTR...
BTW, I got this idea from someone elses topic, except they were thinking UCS Castles like Hogwarts or Black Falcon's Fortress...
This would be awesome, because now I don't need to use the Star Wars Hailfire Droid as my Porcupine.

This idea would be really cool. I would also like to see more accurate scaled buildings like a castle tower, an inn, watermill that works, etc. Dan Siskind sets like the Blacksmith Shop and Crossroads Tavern come to mind.

Well, I was thinking Siege Equipment, because UCS is just vehicles, excluding Cloud City. Not that towers wouldn't be cool.

While it would be wonderful if TLC was offering some large and detailed castle sets, I don't think the term "UCS / Ultimate Collector's Series" would be used.
I believe the UCS term refers to the fact that the product is something that a collector, not necessarily of LEGO, would want. For example, the UCS sets are aimed at Star Wars fans as much as they are aimed at LEGO fans.
Since "generic castle lego" is not something that is collected by people who aren't fans of castle lego, I don't think it would be marketed as UCS.
Realistic TLC designed castle sets would have to come from something like the Designer or Sculptures product lines. Still, it would be nice to see.

I'd love to see a UCS line, but I'd like to see detailed models of real castles--think Bob Carney at a much smaller scale. These would have to be at a scale much smaller than minifig, but imagine a line of castles at a set-size comparable to the Statue of Liberty set.

Think of a Siege Tower with a Battering Ram... that has "flames" in the Battering Ram...
Or a Porcupine with detailed Arrows, Arrow Shafts, and a realistic launching method...

I doubt they'll do castles, but they COULD do siege weapons...
