Yeah, but do you know how Bumblebee from Teen Titans looks with that face? I definetly think there should be at least ONE brown female head.

Hmm, I can't say much, except I'd really like to see at least one female pattern! I need one for my Chloe fig from Firefly...

Actually making decals for that many would not be THAT expensive a proposition. You can print them yourself (or go to a kinkos and do color copies onto waterslide paper). So long as you seal the decal sheet with clear Krylon you'd be fine. How many different faces do you think you could put on a sheet of decal paper? I'm thinking quite a few, and color copies at kinkos is all of $1 each. That just leaves the price of decal paper, not cheap but not terrible either. So, making brown minifig female faces is certainly possible.

I'd like a brown female head too. I need one to make Susannah Dean, from the Dark Tower series...

Lego's can of worms. Otherwise known as infinite diversity in infinite combinations.

I'm for seeing more brown head patterns that aren't necessarily as distorted looking as the Basketball head designs. When it's not a requirement that a fig look a certain way, such as in a Harry Potter set where the characters are founded in a storyline, Lego should make the effort to include a non-yellow minifig character. I'm for seeing head packs :)

It would be really wonderful if Lego had a face design submission process or otherwise some sort of Lego Store head printing vending machine (at least a vending machine with premade body parts you couldn't find elsewhere, where you could select parts from a touch screen and watch the machine build the fig behind a panel). I'll keep dreaming. :P

Random minifig packs!!!

I wanna make a Lego "Benetton Ad"...

My bestfriend, my sweetheart, and myself.

West Africa, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia...
http://www.bricklink.com/memberCollage.asp?uID=8789
Pic is slightly larger than the 400x300 limit, so Im making it at link to my BrickLink Collage pic.

But back to the Brown female heads... or as I found out, they're actually in a color called "Dark Flesh" in BrickLink, and they do differ a bit from Brown. I really wish that Lego would come out with either a new theme or something to make these heads.

I agree there should be a "head pack". A bag full of different minifig head patterns and in all colors to make Lego characters. Why not? They did this for Bionicle masks, now how about doing that for minifig heads? :D

As for the Flesh-tones, I've begun to use them for non-Earth people in my "Origin series" themes. But they still represent different human ethnicities in my Real-Life theme.

Lego actually is incorporating more brown heads where possible, the Bespin guard in the newest Slave I set is a standard brown smilie head. Ok, so its not a female, give em a chance to break through the glass ceiling, ok?

LEGO, now you see why we need some African female Lego characters?

Actually, I have my arm around her waist and she has her arm around mine. I have a larger version of this picture that shows this, but I don't feel comfortable posting it (due to the immaturity of previous viewers).

Anyway, she's not wearing jeans at all, because it's a dress that ends around her knees. Plus we're sitting on the edge of a water fountain. My bestfriend had white pants... you came very close with the faded blue jeans.

In Lego form I use Yellow for Asians, Light Flesh for Europeans, and Dark Flesh for Africans. I have a minifig of her with Earth Orange hair, she's naturally strawberry blonde.

You nailed my image though! (except my shirt is really dark blue, but that doesn't matter).

Here's the ladies...

Artistic license.

This looks more LEGO-y.

Lego minifigs of you... it fattens you up.

I think I have an idea how Lego can make more fleshtones, and that will have one with a Dark Flesh female head piece. (We'd have one already if Lego licensed with the X-Men movies... Halle Berry as Storm)

Lego could do a theme based on music. Think of it as the music industry version of the Hollywood based "Lego Studios" theme. Call it: "Lego Music", "Lego Records" or something like that.

It can be something to encourage music education, and maybe we can get new musical instrument pieces like microphones, a round 1x1 tile as a CD, violin, guitar, and etc. We could even have a whole "Symphony Orchestra" set, or a rock band concert set.

Similar to the NBA minifigs, you can have minifigs of recording artists.

That's a great idea! I'd love to see a symphony orchestra. Then again, how many kids would?

Immature posters?? :P

Glad you liked it. I wanted to see what you would look like as a Lego. If I get the inspiration again, I'll redo some of them and do a finer job like on my Lego 4 Cash art...

I am also for music based Lego sets. I posted about that earlier in the year. Lego should take a cue from The Sims and do sets that reflect entertainment and fun in town. Less Police/Fire, more FUN. I want to see more imaginary Lego businesses. More octan.... Maybe even do a McDonalds restaurant and have McDonalds do a kids meal special with bonus figs you can use for the set... I'll stop before I ramble on too much.

Yeah Pep. Let the emergency services go, throw out the violence, let the town folk live in peace and harmony. It's better this way. ... They won't even see the longboat approaching when the castle hordes start to pillage and scavange them for parts!

On the topic: I'm kind of used to think of the yellow heads as European. On the other hand if LEGO City is supposed to be populated by fleshies they'll probably come out with different colours. And yet I'll stick with the good old yellow guys - they are all so happy :)
