But don't we want to change that before it's too late? If crossbows get swapped for bows soon, we can limit our crossbowmen to a crack division or something. But we have to hurry.

Personally I would prefer that any Crown knight army battle pack attack squad devision defense set had archers with bows rather than crossbows. We already get two crossbows (Albeit weird silver ones) in 7090. And I am sure we can all agree that if there's going to be archers there HAS to be quivers no questions asked.

At least Knight's Kingdom under King Leo had figured that out. There really is a profound lack of the proper quiver element, but also missing and needed are the shield, the plumes and the peasants with PITCHFORKS.

I don't think we'll ever be satisfied without those at the very least.

Personally, I have no problem with the Crossbows. One of my Armies is China, and they mass produced Crossbows. So I arm my light infantry (robe wearing) Chinese armies with Crossbows. The ones with armor do the melee with spears, pole-axes, swords, Chang-Dao, Kwan-Dao, and halbards.

Nuts to archers.

Without a proper silver bullet helm my archers will not be able to draw their bows anyhow. I already have a sufficient number of bows and arrows to satisfy my needs. I could still use some silver bullet helms though as I try and re-arm my knights in newer bling.

TLC doesn't seem like they want to do plain minifig packs. They disguise them like the star wars ones. For Castle, I think our minifig pack is disguised as a calendar.

We've also had the chess sets. I'm hoping for a dwarves vs orcs chess set. --drool--
Oh, and magnet sets as well. I was in the LEGO store the other day and picked up all three sets of Batman magnets at deep discount. Legs are glued in, but oh well, the torsos are all so distinctive that they're not generally usefull except as Batman figs. There was a Castle magnet set as well. Oh, a little less useful, but also the keychains. These have included a couple of exclusives, like the pink princess and the wolfpack/bull fig. Of course, these are even more work to transform into usable figs.

Still, I wish they had some proper Castle Battlepacks. That would be awesome.
