Give us pirates!

Post by Daimyo »

Thanks Lego. You've got the best stuff out.
However, I really wish you would bring back the pirates as minifigs. And a good storyline too. We need those, as I only have two ships and would like some more that are minifig. Please, if this will even change your minds. None of this, "JACK STONE" juniorization crap.

Pirates would be wonderful. But how about *no* storyline? Each time a series is released with some sort of backstory all we get are 5 different "personalized" minifigs and no generic ones.

Ever see the X-Files episode with the Genie who only gave "crocked" wishes?

Be careful what you wish for, because Lego is reviving the Pirates line...but you guys didn't say the magic word: "System."

All I can say is that for all the whining about the upcoming Jellybean Knights, it's nothing in comparison to the trashing Lego is doing to the Pirates line.

Noooo!!! The coming Long Jack stone silver!!!   I used to love those old sets, then they make them in '4 kids' scale? I choose not to say completely what I think for the benefit of the forums as a whole and the young ones. Will anyone buy this new 'Blackbeard Jack' pirate line?

Err....yes. That small pirate raft has some really cool parts and I'll be getting some of those.

As for the rest... BURN, BABY, BURN!

Yes that little pirate raft looks like a decent source for parts. I will likely buy a few of that set when it comes out and I will likely buy most of the line when it inevitably ends up on the 50% off clearance rack. The rest of the sets are questionable even at 50% off, but if I can't find a use for the parts, my kids surely can.

Well, overall it is Jackbeard, who will be sunk by Megabloks (Well, it's the truth) on the markets if LEGO continues with this! And, if you isist on calling it Jack stone, say JACK STONER.
