Ok here's the most amazing castle wall I've ever seen:
It's from LEGOLAND Billund, so that's what you can accomplish with an unlimited supply of bricks...

Is that Lego? What is the scale? If it is Lego it would have to be huge to get that color gradation

The model is at a very large scale. You can see some 2x2 corner convex roof bricks on top of the battlements.
