I love the theatre!!! (cinema) It's great to see a real town, instead of a place constantly under construction, pumping gas, chasing robbers and putting out fires

More pics in this gallery. It's really cool to see LEGO unveil a great new set at a fan event again - it seems like it's been a couple of years since they've done this.

Thanks for links
I would have liked more tree species diversity, bicycles and bike paths to capture the hope of the 1958 Lego Town Plan, not disputing the public park with a contemporary art fountain is their:
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/270_1
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/309_2
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/230_2
we still get the fuel tanker and petrol station:
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/250_2
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/310_5
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/231_2
The town hall and 1930’s art deco movie cinema show heritage conservation.
Probably a difficult set to design for Lego.
Regards Mario

Brickjournal.com has posted some cool shots of the building interiors. Sweet!
I'm glad to see the return of doors on vehicles... at least on one, anyway.

Hey,
That town hall just looks better and better (mmmm, dark green), also the vehicles. I didn't realize that the boy in the original set pic was actually Kjeld. That's a really cool detail. I wonder if the girl also has some connection to the history of LEGO.

In the equivalent thread at FBTB, someone says that the girl is Kjeld's sister. Apparently, she's not "here" anymore...Bruce N H wrote:I wonder if the girl also has some connection to the history of LEGO.
Yeah I thought that was a really cool detail too, to have the teenage Kjeld, and the current Kjeld.

Wow! That cimena looks awesome! I remember going to one that looked kinda like that when I was younger... I was probably about 6-7.
I love the designs on the cinema and on the dark green building. Goota love anything dark green.
Too many other things to point out.
In Christ,

I think I need to ask a LEGO set from ALL my friends and family for this X-mas. LOL! With this new set, Market Street, Corner Cafe, the Grocer, and etc. I WANT LEGO!!!
I'll make Christmas buying easier for them. I DO NOT want cloths from anyone, well except for Anya cos she's the only one who knows my fashion sense.
