I am sure that very few if any of you are aware that LDRAW will soon be having public elections to form a Steering Committee. These elections are open to anyone that is a member of LDRAW, and anyone can quickly and easily become a member.
These elections are important to me as a seller of the brick, and will be important to anyone that uses Lego CAD software for various reason and I encourage you join LDRAW now so that you can participate in the elections that start May 1.
I would like to endorse the following slate of candidates for election to the LDRAW Steering Committee:
1. Larry Pieniazek
2. Tim Courtney
3. Orion Pobursky
4. Kevin Clague
5. Chris Dee
I believe these to be the best candidates candidates to take LDRAW into a future and to expand the reach of LDRAW.
To see who all of the candidates are, and to find out more about the ones that I mentioned above, please see this link:

In order to be able to vote, you must be a member of LDRAW. To become a member, you must have a user account on the LDRAW.ORG website. You can sign up for such an account here:
http://www.ldraw.org/user.php?op=check_ ... NS-NewUser
Once you do that, you will need to apply to become an actual member of the organization, which can be done at this link:
http://www.ldraw.org/index.php?module=LdrawMember
I encourage everyone to take the few minutes necessary to do this. I believe that it will pay dividends in the future to have more forward thinking people in place at LDRAW.

The end of the election is nigh. (always wanted to use "nigh" in a sentence!)
It ends later today!
Tim, Orion, Chris, Kevin and I hope that we can count on your support.
In any case, It would be greatly appreciated if you took the time to vote, whether you end up deciding to vote for us or not.
Thanks!
