Hello!

doctorsparkles wrote:It seems to me that if all castle sets started off with the number 60, they would have already run out of item numbers. That would only give them 100 numbers to work with (6000-6099), and there must be more than 100 castle themed sets by now.
Yes and no. There are many Castle sets that are not in the 60xx range, but they are mostly not "regular" sets which for me means they haven't been in the catalogue for more than one year if they have been in a catalogue at all.

But I can think of dozens of 60xx numbers that are not used. And knowing TLC's recent behaviour I guess those numbers will be used in future for some else stuff rather than for any Castle sets. They have lost the sense of order in Billund and they have lost the sense of keeping their own traditions. Alas!

Thanks for clearing that up. What I had said was based purely on assumption.

So true and so sad. I don't consider Ninja's as castle, but Jojo is correct LEGO does, another reason for that is the fact the new castle ac.. contained ninja stuff.

I was sad to find out bach then that Ninja's theme took over the 60xx numbers, and more then that the enitre KK I 60xx numbers were all worng as well. Still I can easily think of good 5 numbers for the new KK II sets.

Maybe TLC don't consider KK II as Castle? hehe
(well I don't anyway)

Anything that uses the castle accessories would be nice. I don't really care for the KK2, not because their ugly (well, that too), but because they have a whole new line of weapons and armor. I mean, how is a Forestman going to look holding a KK2 sword.

You took the words right out of my mouth. That's the first thing I thought when I saw them.

I voted maybe. It would all depend on how TLC did them. And frankly, they'd probably do it badly. If they simply continued and expanded the original line, in the original fashion, then I would say great. Maybe boring, maybe sort of has-been feeling, but still: a decent, solid line, with decent, solid parts.

Unfortunately, TLC would be more likely to give us an Asian version of KK2, and we all know how people feel about those. :x

OMG..... Ninja Power Rangers?!?!?! LOL!

I think they'll be ripping off Saban Entertainment and will get sued by them.

I can see it now..... 7 good Ninjas and their wise Ninja Master and Diamyo -vs- the Evil Shogun and his hordes of Dark Samurai and his most powerful warrior the Black Ninja.

1 Red (leader)
1 Blue
1 Green
1 White
1 Pink (female)
1 Yellow
1 Purple (female)
--------
1 Black

Ohhh maybe they can have those Bionicle-sized figures that doubles as a stand alone action figure AND as their "Zords" (robots).
