Very well
I live with Lego since I was born (or at least nearly). I hope I will never have to see the end of Lego. For the 100th, hm, I dont think Ill be around anymore... Happy birthday

Happy happy birthday Lego Brick.
P.S.
It's also my birthday.
I guess I'm born under the sign of the Lego Brick.

I hope I'll see the brick's 100th anniversary when I'm 80. (Assuming both I and the LEGO company can survive that long.)

To celebrate this occasion I found some interesting Lego facts at this website:
• There are about 62 LEGO bricks for every one of the world's 6 billion inhabitants.
• Children around the world spend 5 billion hours a year playing with LEGO bricks. (wow I think I contributed about 2000+ hours)
• More than 400 million people around the world have played with LEGO bricks.
• 19 billion LEGO elements are produced every year.
• 2.16 million LEGO elements are molded every hour, or 36,000 per minute.
• More than 400 billion LEGO bricks have been produced since 1949.

First thing I did today was: Jump for joy when I saw google, Quickly go to Eurobricks, Posted a topic, Then I hunkered down in defeat when I saw there already was a topic. But not for long, as it is LEGO DAY! Then I went and built a HALO spectre and lots of flood and I still am bubbling over with joy. So, HAPPY LEGO DAY!
Yes, I use to many smilies. Who Cares!

You know, I think you're right. That's pretty cool that Google would do that. Perhaps LEGO bribed them . The whole "here's to another 50 years" is repetitive, so here's to 51 more years!Life_Unscripted wrote:Hey, you know I think it is quite an honor that the world's largest web search engine made that logo. I looked in their previous logos and no product has ever been featured. Only holidays, big events like the olympics, vote now reminders, and scientist and artist birthdays. So lego is big lol

[/quote]Google co-founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, used LEGO bricks to build the external low-cost and expandable casing for 10 4GB hard disks when they were busy developing the Google search engine (today, they have reportedly been used in Google's college graduate recruiting exercises to test potential candidate's creative horsepower).

I think Google was bribed by LEGO from the start. Come on, just look at the name 'Google' for a couple seconds and it's easy to see.
It's totally a jumble of the phrase, 'Go LEGO!'. No wonder that site is so popular.
Happy Belated Birthday, LEGO!
