is that means that TLC decided to make MEGABLOCKS compatible?

I've never had megablocks, (except for the random piece thrown into second hand lots I've picked up from thrift stores) but you can sure tell the quality difference between Lego and Megablock even in that picture. Though I don't see much color difference between the old and new gray in the picture. But does make you wonder...

Its like a subtle takeover by a rival company. (I won't write its name: nasty swearword if you're a Lego person). One hopes that all the little yellow people will rise up and throw off their flesh-coloured %*^*&%* persecutors. Of course, there are now flesh-coloured factions within Lego, traitors sucking up to the enemy, obviously!

It seems like rather than take the high road and compete with Megabloks through great set design, TLC has decided just to copy Megablok colors? I'm not sure what they were thinking, it may have been a little something like this "They are outselling us in a lot of markets, it must be the colors. If we used those colors instead of our own maybe we will get out market back." Now that is a thought process.

The following is not based on any real data, only heresay and make believe, and the opinons expressed are not necessarily the opinion of the author
Since the dawn of time, LEGO and MegaBloks have been going at it pretty hard.
In recent years, LEGO has been trying to sue MegaBloks and all other clone brands for 'dilluting' the LEGO Product, most all unsuccessfully.
More recently, LEGO's sets have been losing piece counts but not changing prices, possibly due to trying to lower rising costs of production to counter their cheaper competitors.
LEGO's latest legal loss in Canada struck a nerve with the high ups at the LEGO company, MegaBloks must be taken down.
It was decided that because LEGO could not compete with the prices at which MegaBloks sold it's product, Megabloks the company must be shut down permanently through Legal action.
The courts, deciding in MegaBloks favor, argue that the MegaBlok product is different enough from the LEGO product that it is not a copyright issue. Following this vein, LEGO decided to change it's core colors that make up over half of it's production to match those with MegaBlok's.
Soon legal papers will be filed claiming copyright infringement against MegaBloks, because now their bricks are less different than those of LEGO.

Ok, so I'm just having a bit of fun
