The Shrieking Shack was basically a facade - it looks like you need two of those to make a real single structure (or shorten one to provide a back). So, I got Hagrid's Hut Redux which is an all new design and should work in a medieval village. I'll be putting it together during the Lakers game (San Antonians may feel free to laugh heartily at the soap opera that the Fakers have become ).
If anyone has set reviews (hopefully with an eye towards their applicablity to Castles), please post 'em.

One thing I noticed is that the new Hagrid's hut has castle wall corner pieces. Those are really nice, and the Draco and Buckbeack set has really nice tree pieces. The new hogwarts has nice windows, stairs, and doors. The greeny skeletons look really cool too.

They are out here in Sacramento CA too. At the Toys R Us on Arden and at one of the Targets. Haven't picked any up yet, waiting for the BOGO 50% off sale at Toys R Us to start.
