I cleared the store out. Unfortunately, they only had about six at that time.
I probably did this over the corse of two years.
my wife would also buy them for my birthday and christmas, I think I got 40 of them Christmas of 2001

I just updated my armies gallery..... but forgot to put the 3 other currently large cavalry groups: Persia, Mongol and Babylon.

JPinoy, I like your URL's attitude: alot_but_I_need_more. That's exactly how every AFOL should think. Of course, going by sheer size of collection, I think that you should probably be at the back of the line when it comes to getting new figs. It's only fair! :P

Well.... I've seen some other AFOLs with like 4,000 space and SW minifigs. *shudders* We Castle/Ancients guys shouldn't let those loud hailer armed soldiers out number our troops to the point that their yelling will overwhelm our soldiers.

Also I met some guy on BrickLink chat stating that he'll raise a space/SW army of 10,000.

Tons of Blacktron Orcs no doubt......

As for other Castle fans with big armies...
Guys, tell me how "fair" this is? Jojo, don't weep over envy!

Okay, I get the point. We must outnumber the techno-freaks at all costs. Iron before proto-plasma! Horses before spaceships!

Not that we need to outnumber them, though: my army of three Black Knights could take down those 10,000 spacer-dudes, no problem. (Hint: magic doesn't need batteries, lasers do. Magic can destroy batteries! :D )

Just imagine what my dozen or so Crusaders could do. :D
