On average it takes about 4-5 working days for a regular airmail package to get to me from anywhere else in the world :)

(I live in Australia BTW ;))

Is the list on your first post the list Harold will take, or will it be a different list?

It makes most sense to mail Harold to people that are close to each other. I need to figure out the geography and make a new shipping list. Sadly, my brickworld moc has been taking up my time lately. I am sure you understand ;)

Ben
Okay, thanks for the info.

It's not what you say it's how you say it.

Ben, as Caylin mentioned it would be cool to have him at BrickCon - if you put all the West Coasters towards the end of the list (~#14-19) I think the timing would be right. I think most of the people on there are going. Would even be able to hand him off to the next person that weekend and save somebody the trouble of shipping.

Glad to see somebody else has thought of this too. I specifically came here to suggest it. I vote for Harold at BrickCon in '08! :D

If he hasn't visited Washington DC yet I could take him on a tour of some of the more recognizable tourist spots.

If you live on the West Coast and would like your name moved to the back of the list, please send me a pm. Otherwise, we probably can leave the list as it is now.

I'd be happy to host Harold for BrickCon 08, so you can stick me wherever I need to be on the list. :)

Is the list as it is in the first post of this thread the definitive order of people Harold is going to visit? Or are you still going to change it so people who live closer together are "grouped" together on the list?

Wouldn't be the first time ;)
Depending on when exactly Harold reaches me we might even be able to make the exchange in person...

I think all three of us at the end of the list are going to BrickCon already. Might not need to make any changes. :)

They are currently one and the same. Each person on the list will be contacted with the address of the person they will ship to.

Not quite, by my count there's 16 weeks til BrickCon and, just being realistic, no guarantee that Harold will actually get shipped/arrive every week. That's why I was saying we should be around the 14-19 block - I'd say put the three of us (Me, Ted, and Caylin) in slots 14, 15, and 16, that way we can afford up to two weeks of delays and still have him be there on time.

This would be if everyone takes pictures and send Harold out on the very day they recieved him.
It's going to take longer than just a week per person including shipping if you ask me.
