Henry is Home

Post by LEGOFREAK »

Hey all,
I am really really sorry - I meant to post this a couple of months ago...
Henry is home safe and sound. true to form he lost his luggage, but he came home with his staff and flags, and his camera.
He lost his helmet too, but that's easily replaced.
Henry is home (hence the title of this post) and standing on a special .. well.. stand.. that I built for him. His travels, the artwork and the tattoo have constantly been a source of stories for me to relay to others.
(it goes like this; "hey, I like your lego man tattoo dude", "well let me tell you the story of Henry the globe trotting minifig!")
I was going to post, however for the last year I have been a copy jockey working at kinkos, when I got him home, as I had an idea of all my minifigs with a banner welcoming him home, but I was working swing shift. and honestly I have been too tired to do much of anything.... my lego goes unsorted, and unplayed with. :(
I have recently moved to a different company where I am the dispatcher/office manager and even though I am working crazy hours, I still have free time where I am able to play with my toys. plus it pays better :D

anywhoo.. the point is.. Henry has made his way back to me, and I couldn't be happier.

Welcome back from the 'dead'. Henry too! I was wondering about you a few weeks ago, and didn't know who, or if, I should ask.

Some day I'll get my pics of Henry's visit up on BS, but I'm several weeks away from home right now.

Welcome back! It has been far too long. I was begining to wonder if you had died or something. When you stop hearing from an important guy, such as yourself, a guy has to wonder what's happened. It's good to hear that you are safe and well.

Dan

Oh, good to hear from you too LegoFreak.

Hey Freak,

That's really cool. Do you have pictures of Henry home safe from his journeys? I'm putting together a page with links to all of his stops.

Hey, that's awesome that you got the original Henry back! His lost luggage ended up in Texas, in my possession. I also have his horse, and I think some other accessories. Let me know if you'd like them to join Henry!

As much as I am thrilled to learn that Henry is safe and sound (is one of those flags he still has the stickered falcon flag I made?), I'm even more happy to see a post by you on this forum again, Freak. Huzzah!

Welcome back! I too was wondering where/how you'd been.

How did Henry make his way to you? And in such strange timing too.
