I found this article on Yahoo! News today. Honestly, was there ever any doubt?

I dunno if this is good or bad...can't you just see TLC getting all pompus and arrogant, then letting its quality go down?

I shouldn't worry too much about quality going down: it already has! :(

No doubt at all, though I am concerned that it follows the new changes for the worse. Flesh colored figs, new greys, new browns. Wouldn't want Lego to assume that correlation equals cause in this situation. But still it is good to see. They've made some great sets lately, even with the changes.

My neighbor who lives up the street is really cool and he has the most awesome collection of G.I Joes anywhere, a whole room full, with buildings and ships and figures.

Great! Go LEGO! No, there never was any doubt. It does concern me, though, that this comes right after TLC makes a bunch of bad (my opinion, of course) decisions. They might take it as a good sign... Oh, well. Some sweet day, TLC will get back to what it once was... :D

A hint to the Lego Co.: if you return to your old standards, ratings will go through the roof (because AFOLs will be building that high!) :D

I've been collecting LEGOs since I was 4 yrs. old. They have always been my favorite toy. And, since I buy most of my LEGOs on Ebay anyway, I haven't been affected too much by TLC's "shift in design".

Especially when one considers all the efforts LEGO has made to rid itself of respectability. :D
