although both sites show are moc minifigs, and not a real sneak preview of the game of thrones :(

anyway i hope it's going to happen, and a line of "A Song of Ice and Fire would be a great adition to my medieval sets. :)

Sure I can see Lego doing this. What with all the murder, attempted child murder, rape, sex, incest & all....

Just like medieval times, or modern times. Or are battles just meant to be harmless romantic encounters between handsome men and evil people? If Lego do kingdoms and release battle sets for 5 year olds then there should be no problem with them doing minifigs for a song of ice and fire or do you think they will make the lego men anatomically correct and release sets with rape, incest and sex in?

And both sites clearly say that the first paragraphs were not true and then go on to explain they are MOC figures.

You would have thought this was April 1st. :D

Or trolls or skeletons or wizards or dragons...

Not cool dude, not cool at all to just announce something like that when it clearly isn't true

Username has the right of it, I think.

There is no way LEGO will license a franchise that any parent in their right mind would not let the target demographic within ten miles of.

I mean if LOTR was too dark, ....common people!

I haven't been on here in what seems like forever, but my son is getting to an age now where we gleefully raid our two local LEGO stores together (Chicago area) and we've been getting our multi-generational love for LEGO on. Just wanted to link this if you like SoIaF minis: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15213&p=181615&hili ... re#p181615

I did those in 2008 when the books were fresh in my mind. Love the HBO series and really dig the minis in that other link. I'd love to see a MOC of the Battle of the Trident.
