I don't think we can arbitrarily tell people not to buy something. Nor can we demand that everyone goes out and buys Megabloks either. That being said,
I have now purchased the Vorgan stronghold and though the brick quality is not as good as Lego, Megabloks is not what it used to be. These are good quality sets at affordable prices. I plan to buy more and make a real army out of the Vorgan and Norvagen characters.
If you avoid keeping the standard bricks, it is very easy to sort the new Dragon stuff from regular Lego. This will make it easier for building and for boxing the Megabloks away if and when Lego finally returns to building a system castle line.
Megablok net earnings are up 22% from last year according to their website and that is an indication that without any retail protests etc... Megabloks has managed to add greatly to their customer base. I hate to say it, but they deserve it, finally a brand that actually caters to its customers.
