I have an older brother and two younger sisters.

My brother was already "too old" for Lego when I started
collecting. I was 12, he was 14. He built stuff occasionally,
but never quite understood my obsession. I did buy him
a Yoda for his birthday this year, and has said he loves it.
I doubt he will collect too many things on his own, but even if he did, he lives in his own house with his wife and daughter.

My younger sisters never really took on the hobby. However, both of them can't understand my obsession
either. Yes, my room is almost filled to capacity with
Lego boxes, and stuff, but I still have stuff I want to get...
