Well, there really aren't that many stores like that left anyway. There is one in my town, called Homewood Toy and Hobby. They have some Legos, and I large assortment of playmobilJPinoy wrote:Actually all I had in mind was putting a 6086 for display. Make it like a teaser set. Have the castle AND the box on display to prove that this was an old set and not just some MOC someone came up with.
A battle scene would also work, but you'd need more room. Black Knights/Monarchs -vs- Crusaders. Both displayed sets need to have plenty of figs and ONLY the figs of those sets should be used for the scene so as not to disappoint customers that all those other figs were "extras" just thrown in to make things look more interesting. Make parents and kids think, "Good, these sets have enough soldiers for a battle. I won't feeling like Im being forced to buy other sets just to get more minifigures."

In my county the super-mall (2nd largest in the USA), Palisades Center, has a Lego Store. Also, about 30 minutes south in New Jersey in Paramus Park Mall... there's another Lego Store.

Slightly less seriously, If you lot got classic castle as kids and became AFOLs, do today's kids buy bionicles and become AFOBs?
TLC are stuck in the position that most bionicle fans are not lego fans per se. Because bionicle is keeping TLC afloat, lego is catering to fans who couldn't care less.

More likely the AFOLs of today will be replaced by the AFOMs (Adult Fans of Mega) of tomorrow in numbers and skills.
Remember everyone, to will your Lego to an impressionable child when you die. The tradition must live on!

Bah, AFOMs! :p That'll never happen. Is there a "BlokLink.com", a "MBUGnet.com", a "Classic-Dragons.com"? NO! There isn't one now, and there shall never be one in the future.
