15 figs is even more than the legendary yellow Castle once had. I'm sure Mr Ritvik (or who the guy is who decides on things like this) was aware of this when he (or whoever) created his sets.

BTW: Do MegaBloks kids take their MegaBloks blocks from their castles and their other MB sets and combine them to someting completely different? For some peculiar reason I keep this possibility to make something new with the bricks for the main benefit of LEGO. Are there MegaBloks MOCs around? Is there a MBugnet?

I don't think there is a MBugnet, but I have seen some very impressive Megabloks creations including a very sweet castle. Once I find the pics, I will post them. In this post to keep the clutter down. :D

PS - I did not build the Castle I am going to post.
After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

I would much sooner spend 90 dollars on a bunch of Megabloks figure packs than buy the Castle Of Morcia. Hmm... lets see... around 50 cool looking Orc figs with weapons or a crappy castle with too few figs and too few pieces. Tough decision. Forgive my sacrilege, but KK2 can kiss my............ feet.

Hello!

The sub-title of this site ought to be renamed: "The Source for all your MegaBloks® Castle needs."

Who applies for the job of the MegaBloks admin here?

Oh, and Playmobil is better than MegaBloks: They have NICE castles AND army builders. AND Vikings. AND cattles. AND a joust with real horses ("real" Playmo horses, no actual animals :-) )
They have no orcs, though. But that's just a minor complaint.

Playmobil is pretty sweet, but I like Megabloks because I can use them along with my Legos. Their castles (and most of the pieces used to build them) suck, but their figs are awesome, in my opinion.
No real horses? Bummer. It would be really cool if they started genetically engineering really small horses to be sold as children's toys.

I have tons of Playmobil...they have many things that lego is lacking in...Playmobil is so cool I have the entire Norse theme...and most of the castle theme including the catapult being operated by a group of drunken knights which lego could never make...but even Playmobil doesn't have Orcs...

There figs may be as awesome as they want to. I like the pure simplicity of the LEGO fig better. It's a system fig. You can attach everything to the Minifigure, and you can attach the Minifigure to everything. The old yellow fig, that is. The new peach coloured Which-acctress-felt-offended-by-being resembled-in-a-yellow-skin-tone-LEGO-minifigs ain't useful at all. Try to build a naked peachfig! If there was no Lego and I had to choose between Mega Bloks and Playmobil, it would be Playmobil hands down. The Mega Bloks figs are just put together in such a cheap fashion, I can't stand them. They don't have the charm of the Lego minifig or the Playmobil ones. And Playmobil has all sorts of fig packs. But that is one of emphasis - Playmobil are more up and running play than building a lot and personalizing your structures.

awesomeWhile on the subject of playmobil, I have got to say that it is awesome!I bought four of a combo pack for 80 usd total, and altogether I was able to put together a huge castle, about a 2 foot square, 6 inch tall walls, about two foot round towers at the corners, and four foot tall siege towers. I also got 56 figures! Considereing that those are playmobil figures, The castle of Morcia for $90 has only 8 figures, and that I only paid $80, I'd say playmobil is kicking TLC's Megablocks in terms of value.

The playmobil catalogs have a smaller catalog inside them that allows you to buy pieces from sets! Imagine if TLC did that...

ME: Hello.
Lego consumer services: How may I help you?
Me: I bought 100 hogwarts castles and the armour was missing. might I order 100?
LCS: certainly. Would you like side-plumes with that? free, of course.

Imagine...

Hmmm, how compatible are PM weapons with TLC minifigs?

You can also order knight packs! Plus, the different knight packs have different shield emblems.

You actually can put a PM weapon in a lego fig's hand, and although it will make the hand unusable for any real lego pieces, it will hold the item with alright stability.

Playmobil is indeed an amazing toy, certainly second only to Lego, with G.I. Joe coming in at second. I love Playmobil, especially the pirates, knights and police theme, though I own little, a small castle, small ship, and police station. They are so superbly detailed and rich!
