Ice cream shop

Post by soccerkid6 »

This is a little ice cream shop my mom asked me to make, she is doing ice cream/coffee house desserts after my older brother's wedding rehearsal. So its kind of a prop.
This uses a free floating roof style, and can split apart to look/play inside. I thought it came out ok, but could be a little better. Here are some pics

And the gallery (when modded) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=483835

Thanks for looking, and please share your opinion, I would love some feedback.

Pretty neat, but it needs a bit more action. From the outside, it's a little tough to know what you're looking at. Maybe if you made it so that the interior was more of the focal point, and would be displayed hinged open so that people could see what's going on inside. Then, you could show someone serving scoops from behind the counter, people sitting down to enjoy a sundae, or someone forming a cone underneath one of your neat dispensers.
Just my $0.02 worth :)

Congrats to your brother on getting married!

Good ideas, I didn't really think about that(I was adding the last details in a rush before work). I will definitely add another worker or two. I can add a little outside patio thing too with picnic tables. Thanks for the great ideas! :D

Thanks, the wedding is this Saturday  . This is my first sibling to get married so it is kind of strange.
My mom is going crazy getting everything ready.

EDIT Added your ideas, now I just have to try and get some pictures up.
The wedding went great, now Mom can finally relax :roflol:
