If you didn't know, CC has a sister site, the Forbidden Cove ( http://www.forbiddencove.com/ ). This is the place where a lot of little mini pirate contests happen. A place where we name a part, called the seed part, and the members get to build something creative with it. Sometimes, we name up to three parts, sometimes we give some building restrictions, sometimes we give none.

Over there at that lovely pirate place, we have an epic contest running, where for four weeks straight 12 builders have set upon a quest to build the most creative use of the seed part in a MOC with no building restrictions except that they had to be only LEGO parts used. If you have seen some wild and crazy ideas showing up on your flickr in pirate, then that person is probably building for the PPP.

Now, if you are a member of the Cove, you can vote for the build of the week, and I'm pretty sure that any of the people building would appreciate a vote or two (me included). If you aren't a member, well come on over, the water is fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine, we have a lot of fun, build some crazy stuff, win a lot of NICE booty (read that "blue is VERY generous with prizes"), and talk like a pirate.

Week 1's entries: http://forbiddencove.com/parlay/viewtop ... f=6&t=1166
Week 2's entries: http://forbiddencove.com/parlay/viewtop ... f=6&t=1178
Week 3's entries: http://forbiddencove.com/parlay/viewtop ... f=6&t=1188

Oh and well if you enjoyed the CCC, we over at the Cove have our own epic contest called the Jolly Roger Contest, which is approaching like an epic storm racing across the open ocean, pounding in your ears, making you quake and want to race with the winds...

I saw Sebeus's awesome canoe with the 'seed' part. I was thoroughly impressed.

Very cool! So, members vote to see who wins?
Is the Jolly Roger contest like the CCC?
This sounds very interesting. :)
