How have you got these? I didn't think you were in the UK (or at least judging from your website). Do you have pictures?

I'm surprised they're still rolling out in the US- i'm almost done with this wave.

Wave Six disappeared far too quickly I thought though.

Quite the opposite here. Series six is lingering around Toys R Us, the LEGO store, and a multitude of other places. Yet, no sign of series 7. :(

They've made their appearance here (Southern Ontario), and I spent a while picking my way through a box yesterday, taking home three Aztecs, two Vikings, and two boar knights. The Aztec completely lived up to my (high) expectations, and I was also quite happy with the Viking. It would be nice if her shield was printed, but I suppose that there already are more than enough options for that piece. As for the boar knight, I had very low hopes for him, but I was quite pleasantly surprised with the level of detail in the printing, both on his legs and on his armour. I was originally going to grab just the two, but I'm starting to reconsider that.

I found that this series was a little harder to identify by feel, but that impression might be biased by the sheer amount of practice I had with series six. (It took me a while to find all the Romans I wanted.) In particular, I found that the bulk of the space marine's shoulder pads felt close to the bulk of the Aztec's headdress, or at least they felt similar initially. If you feel carefully, they're really quite distinct, but you need to take your time. I also was unsuccessful at finding Poseidon or the bagpiper. I had a fresh box--so I'm sure they were in there--but I didn't have a sense for what pieces where which. All that means, however, is that I'll need to go back. ;)

----Edit----

I went back this evening and picked up a few more. I grabbed another Aztec and another boar warrior, and I somehow found myself with a Little Red Riding Hood too (I'm not too sure what I thought it was, but it's not what I was expecting). I also found a Poseidon, which has become my favourite figure of this lot. I'm very impressed with him.

I'm not impressed, however, with the bagpipers. I was excited to find three of them, but that excitement waned when I opened the bags at home. The fabric kilt just doesn't do it for me for two reasons: (i) the material feels thin/cheap/shortlived, and (ii) it doesn't seem to sit quite right, e.g., it bulges at places and does not seem to be flush in others. Everything else about the figure, on the other hand, is first rate. In this case, however, I would have preferred to see the kilt printed directly on the legs. I think the end result would have had an overall higher quality feel.

The kilt of the bagpiper is my only complaint, and it's certainly one I can live with. This has been my favourite line so far, and I'm keen to pick up a few more copies while they last in stores.

Fred Meyers here in WA and OR have been carrying them for a couple of weeks. I scooped up an open box (52 packets) and am still sorting through them.

I was told that they would be released in LEGO stores on 5/1, but I haven't been back in to see if they have any or not.

We have also seen them in Houston and other places in Texas. One of my favorite series thus far. Being originally from Mexico I am glad they did an Azteg warrior. Technically they should have called him an Eagle Warrior. In the original Aztec language it was called cuāuhtli.
Make me want to get a bunch and build Tenochtitlan in Lego...

Maybe I can rally up some more people and we can do a project ;)
