Searching for a minifig head

Post by jediknight219 »

I could have sworn that there was a female African American minifig that was produced recently, but I can't remember where.

I did some searching through Bricklink, and the only one I found was from the Friends line: link. Was that the one you had in mind?

No, not the one. I just got that Friends set for the hair. I thought I could find a minifig head to go with it. I'm gonna try searching for firefly mocs and see what they did for Zoe. I remember a while back there weren't any decent options, but for some reason I thought things had improved. Right now I'm trying the head from the Arkham Asylum guard. Don't like it, but I think the only other options I have on hand would be the plain smiley head from the Bespin guard or Mace Windu's head from a while back. I really want a female head though, with lipstick and stuff.

I cheated, but I got a solution that I'm happy with.

That looks good, female space patrol. Good looking chicks :D.
So how did you cheat, you didn´t find a black female head but how did you make that

I've seen people use the generic smiley face from the bespin guard, but it looks at bit out of place amongst other more detailed prints.

I guess one may be made if TLG expanded the X-Men range (and make Storm) but I can't think of any other themes/sets that are likely to produce one, but surely there must be some random female star wars characters that they could have produced by now!

Worst case scenario you could have made a Howard Stern minifigure with that hair.

I used a yellow minifig head and used a photo editing progam(Gimp) to change the color.

If I made Howard Stern, I'd have to make Robin Quivers, and then I'd be back where I started.
